Heres some advice. NEVER BUY ARMADA.
But as for now, i'd call Armada and see what they can do; if anything...
good luck.

yeah dude that really sucks. Ive hit tons of rails this year, like at least 15 days of skiing, rails included. My arvs and ar5s are just fine. I bet armada will do something about it because that shit is not supposed to happen.

Horrible advice, armada is solid shit, thats all i ski now. You must have hit a rock, there is no way that much shit would happen from one day of rails and groomers. Take them to the shop. And post pics.

i agree, armadas are nothin special. you might as well buy elans for half the price(same factory and materials). kids just buy armada cause they are "cool". that sucks about your ski, my advice would be try and get it covered, but if not look to a company who makes more than just twin tips....

that sucks dude, i dont know why people are hatin on armadas, they make real nice skis, i hope u get this covered and armadas are still dope skis

^that was an uneducated comment. Yes armadas are made in the same factory and yes they are made from the same/ similar materials but in no way are elans and armadas the same ski. The skis have different foot prints, flex patterns, even the edges are different widths.
Also, Armadas are built from respectable designers/research. A comment like "buy from someone who doesnt make only twins" is one of the most ignorant comments ive heard on this site. If anything, core companies know what a rider wants in a ski. You don't end up with comapany's like elan and nordica who make shit twins. The reason people don't ride nordica and elan isnt because theyre not "cool" like you say. Its because their skis just plain suck. They havent put the time, money, or reseach into making a decent twin. They're simply making skis with the backs turned up. Companies like armada, 4frnt, line and even big companies like salomn and rossi are putting effort in. They are making quality twin specific skis. They are finding out what riders want and the majority are good quality too. Look what line and armada have done for our sport and then look what elans done. Why would you ever discourage people from buying from a company whos doing soo much more. Sorry that was long..........
but anyways if the damage is from rails i doubt you'll be able tro get them warrenteed for a new pair. And armadas are known for weak top sheets, but as long as it does not become delam it should only be cosmetic

^^^^oh nordicas suck, huh? so thats why they won the vt open pipe? yeah armadas and elan ae not a carbon copy of each other, but they have extremely good marketing skills, which helps them sell many skis...

armada hands down has the worst edges of any ski company by far i have seen way way to many kids come in with armada edges fully seperated from the skis with very minimal skiing

mabye same materials but extremely different construction, 80% of the fuckin skis are same material, and it doesnt matter what factory they are made from, they all use the same process. for example does elan have any BC booter skis, or park and pipe skis? Way different constructoin, i rest my case.

Since when does Nordica suck?

ok maybe the nordica comment was offbase/ misunderstood. Nordica twins are nothig really special. They are stiff and are not much more than an all mt ski with a tail. I was comparing them to park skis like armada where in comparison they arent close. As a ski it is a decent ski. As a park ski it is not that great.

I'm gonna have to say, ditch the core companys and go for the bigger names like salomon, rossignol, k2, ect. They know how to make a good ski that won't fall apart.

well did you really, and i mean really, detune those edges? im not talking about taking a gummy stone, im talking hand file and taking metal off in yummy quanitites.
regardless, i had a very similar problem with my ar5s back in the day. after the first day, they started experience hardships. I wasnt skiing all that hard on them, and after only 2 months, more than 5 feet of edge was missing. bull shit. They do make some good skis (such as the JPs) but the whole going core thing isn't too rad when your shit deteriorates in a flash.

Yeah, well im missing 40% of edge after 1 1/2 seasons and another season or less doing urban and yard.

probably shouldn't have done rails on them, as that voids the warranty.
on the other hand, i didn't do any rails on my 05-06 ARVs, and the topsheet separated from the sidewall under the binding. i emailed tyson hall and sent em back, still waiting to hear from armada, but i don't even know if they've gotten the skis yet.

My ARV's have taken more than one beating, and cracked edges is the only damage there is, other than topsheet crap, which only weakens the cosmetic aspect of the ski.
Your skis probably had a manufacturing defect, make sure you clearly explain what happened for your best chances at warranty, armada is reputable for it.

I loooove my Jp vs Julains soo much but after my first day of using them the topsheet is already chipping off...my bro has skiied on his AR5s like 4 times and they are already delamming. They make really sick skis but I dont like how easily they get bunked out.

That means shit all.
Anyone riding armadas is riding the SHIT out of them. Rails, kickers, jump lines, backcountry, urban, whatever. Obviously, they get more use and abuse than Anjelica when she's at the US Open.
Dynastar twin tips are known for their crappy edges, and that you've fixed 11 isn't surprising. But I bet you've sold a lot less trouble makers than you have Armadas, and even if that's not true, the average trouble maker buyer isn't hitting it nearly as hard as the kid on Armadas.
4Frnt skis are trash, the STL especially. You fixed 9 4frnt edges? You probably sold ten pairs.
2 Salomon edges? See the Dynastar comment above, but subtract the part about crappy edges. Salomons'aren't that bad.
Ninthward, well, they're a statistical anomaly, considering how few get sold.
I just told you. Now shut up.
