We are all experienceing the warm months lately. Most mountains have been spotty if any snowmaking it seems as much snow we can make in an eight hour shitf we lose by 2 oclock the next day. It seems that in snowmaking this year we are taking 1 step forward and two steps back. Hopefully christmas break will bring some snow for us here. So far this year is not shapin up good but hopefully it will turn around.
..................................................................................................i dn what to say to this so...................................................................
So far the beginning of the winter has obviously sucked, and naturally I'm as bummed out about it as everyone else is, but if you look back over the last like 10 years, not having any good skiing until early january isn't THAT uncommon. I'm speaking mostly for NY resorts, but really this slow start to the winter isn't a huge surprise. This shit will happen from time to time, winter will come...
yea its so warm here when at gore you had to ollie barespots and some were so big you had to take your skis off and walk it BLOWS it needs to get cold and snow
the weather is terrible...mt snow usually this time of year has all three parks up and going strong...i was there tuesday and all they had was the blanco gulch, the smallest park. It was ok but too small..we need snow
this is pathetic....i can almost wear shorts. My hill usually has the park almost up and running by now....but this year they have no runs open and no snow on the runs so park wont be open until mid-late january....IF it cools down really soon
