Demo binding conversion

I have a really old pair of the orange 1080s. They have solly 12 ti demo bindings on them. I'm getting new skis and want to turn the 1080s into a rail ski. I need to remount them more forward. Can the demo bindings be converted into a normal, non adjustable binding? Can this be done cheaply? I really don't want to throw good money at a ski that is pretty trashed to begin with.

you cant change a demo binding to a regular binding. the heel piece on the demo binding is different. the toe piece can come off, but the hell piece is different
