Pole lengths??

just wonderin what a good length s in freeskiin..i mean i know the lengths your supposed to ride..i got a 48..and im 5'9 But i dont think that longer is bettr for tricks and riding..i mean like mine kinda hit ground and pisses me off..lol..should I get shorter?? or could i get them cut shorter..? let me know...maybe thinkin of like a 46..but let meknow some info..peace

well for the kid who wasnt goin to ride with poles, i would say go shorter, you can rip the handel off and cut them and put the handle back on. the only bad thing about this is if you cut too short the handel might not fit back on. you need a little shorter poles for mougles anyways.

lol ya i know..just dont wanna get judged..if im skiin might as well look like one right..lol but ya thanx for the help..im thinkin cut to 42-44??

im 5'4" and my poles are about 42" but i have had poles that were 44" last year and they were fine.. just get one pair of poles and use them for everything. you have to size up poles by putting your hand under the basket (meaing you have to hold the pole upsidown) but the handel to the ground and do this so your upper arm is right paralell to your side of your body, then if your elbow makea a 90 degree angle with your arm (the one your holding the pole with) then that is the pole that should fit you.
