So i have 06 PE's which the bindings right now are way to far back mounted. This is the first and only drilling done to them. I would really like to center mount them becuase i ski like 80% park and like skis set up center mounted. Is it worth getting them drilled a second time for the center mount or should i stick with the old mounts?
nah, you just want center mount because all the kids on this site talk about it. Leave them where they are, they aren't made to be center mounted, you'll like them better this way.
well if u want to its not a big deal at all, just remount them. it doesnt hurt the ski or anything. mine were way to far back and remounted them to center and sold em to my friend. rode them last week and i liked em wayyyy better in the park
if they are regular k2 factory mount, def go for the remount. because k2 factory mount is sooooo far back its rediculous, you have like noooo tail. i would do it
thanks guys, yea i dont know the numbers but they are uncomfortably far back. it makes rail balance real hard and when i demoed centre mounted skiis i definatly felt the difference
i've done the same thing with 2 pairs of pubs, that's right 2 different pair. I skied the shit out of both of them. it's fine, it doesn't take long, and it makes you get what you want out of the ski 100% worth it.
