why havent they invented a more comfortable ski boot. for example snowboard boots are like everyday snow boots but y do ski boots hve 2 be hard?

good question.

if we changed to soft boots we would basically need to invent a ski bindings for it. and its tradition i guess. and although ive never tried a snowboard boot on, im pretty sure they are too soft for skiing.
