hay. so im starting out the filming of this new little short that im doing, and i was wondering if you guys/gals had any interesting ideas of what kind of shots that i could do. cause there are only a couple that i could really think of, and if you had any tips or anything like that. i got to admit im kinda a noob at this. so just drop me a line if you do. peace
ha ha thanks. ive got like the basics down, but like some of those high shots are kinda hard to get some time. and i dont know how most passes feel about me bringing a latter up next to some waterfalls and kickers.
Moving shots look awesome if you can stabilize the camera from bouncing around enough. Use nature, other obstacles, crowds, as well as deep focus to make your shots look interesting.
im pretty sure he means (and danny correct me if im wrong) keeping something in the foreground in focus but something closer to you or the camera out of focus
sweet. ya, thats kinds what i was looking for. also when we were doing somw urban at night, we had someone pull their car around and use the headlights for lighting and it looked pretty sick with the shadows and everything
