A buddy and I are planning on skiing it over Winter Break and I'm just curious if anyone who has skied has any insights they'd like to pass on...
I already know I need avy gear, and thats fine, I know how to use the gear and I'm confident that I'm a strong enough skier for it.

the dive is actually really easy. for the first time you might want to take the stairs or the easiest line which is as far skiers left as you can get at the top. its a really easy chute that gets moguled out.
just ski it angled towards the left or right and watch out for the death cliffs of death right under the main run.
when you get near the bottom go on the traverse that heads towards a a narbar run. you go underneath a cliff and its cool. then ski through the trees or ski down the open hill. just be really careful because theres is a cliff band in the trees and i suggest just going down the run. besides this exit you can ujst ski right down the the bottom and it empties out into a cat track

funner more technical things inbounds. I don't get you pig pen. You are too stupid not to be a joke. Yet I have seen strange things on this site. The level of stupidity should never be underestimated. People are usually even stupider than I think.

the dive is way over rated. It is way more hype than anything. its a big pain in the ass to do also because you have to rent all that dumb shit then take two chairs and hike for a decent run. And by the way all of the pictures sunshine uses to advertise with are probly from the dive because in bounds is soo shitty, and there is nothing at all that is hard.

how does delirium compare to the whitehorn and er chutes at louise, or is it more like west bowl or north cornice?

the dive is kinda like an african safari, sounds cool when you say you did it. But you dont actaully pet a lion.
The nice thing about the dive is that since you need avi stuff there is a little more fresh because it doesnt get skied out as quick.

yee the shoots at louise are more technical and sometimes (depending how far over u go) have more snow, but then the dive it has its good points, its nice wide open at the begining and most of the time has good snow, then the bottem half is trees which are awesome cuz theres some sweet drops and some really dope pills to hit, but like every where u ski, it has its days
