Just got a new shuffle and I wanna get some decent headphones for it. I was thinking skullcrushers because I like a lot of bass, but I've used some Sony's before and they were pretty nice. So just post up what you think I should get, I have $60 to spend on them.
definitely check those out then. or if you prefer earbuds - the shure e2c is a really nice choice. maybe a tiny bit more expensive than the grados though.
but in any case, both those brands are a big step up in quality over the typical sony/panasonic/jvc/phillips/skullcrushers etc. brands. prolly don't look as sick as some sony and skullcrusher stuff, but you definitely won't regret the step up in quality.
I don't really want earbuds, my ears don't like them. Those Grado's look good, never heard of that company before but it seems legit, anyone else ever used them?
yeah, i have them and have 3 friends that swear by them. they are open air headphones though so they might not be as good for particularly loud places. but i like the open air design and think they're great overall
Grados are the shit!!! I have a pair of sr80 that are probably 5 years old and still better than anything i've ever put on my head. they don't keep the music confined to your ears very well, but sound quality is incredible.
skullcandys look sick but quality wise them vs grados are on two completely different worlds. something like seinnheisers would be closer in quality to grados. but yea sound quality wise skullcandys are gonna be mediocre. they'll get the job done, but they're not anything special. so if going more for looks by all means ti's would be cool, but if you care more about quality you can get something way better for the money.
