i had the bad lt. last year, and the baker this year. baker is soo much better. lighter, more comfortable, and it looks better too. and i haven't had any protection issues also.

Get whatever your goggles fit in. My brother has the Bad Lt. and its cool, the Bern looks sick but some say the protection it offeres is minimal.

bad leutenant is even worse for safety then bern. the edge of the helmet is higher up around ure head and if u have whiplash the helmet will twist and drive into your askull instead of protecting it

haha i laugh in ur face ya a have a bern baker and i still believe that the bad lt has more protection.

yes the bern baker has minimal proctection but its not bad its pretty good ive hit my head off rails with it and you dont even feel it because of the soft foam.

I like the giro 10MX alot. really comfy, light, goodlooking, fits goggles and all. The RED HIFI is sick too, just more snowboard-style, but still sick tho.
BTW helmets are now obligated in snowparks everywhere in the province of quebec.I think it's good.

i'm getting a baker and the way i see it is it will be better protection than anything i have now. a hard hat is harder than my pompom toque and thats enough for me.

I have the LT. but wouldn't get it again. Nothing against its construction (like one dude said about it twisting or something; many head whacks and never any problems) just that every little gayper wannabe is wearing it now. it also catches air and you have to have the chin strap tight so it doesn't lift up (goggle strap under or over). You also get too many stupid fucking comments from tourist about its military look.

ya, and when they mean hardhat rating dont they mean its strong enough and legal as a hard hat, they dont mean it is a hard hat its ski/ snowboard designed. it just means its really strong.

i have a bad lt and i love it. some ppl dont like it as much but i wouldnt get the leather one, its weird lookin if u ask me and its sooo expensive. u can get last yrs for about 40 or 50 bucks
