What size poles do you use compared to your height?

i dont know, but definitely arms at 90.
i used shorter poles for half a season last year, then broke them and got some that fit. what a difference.

Officially, if you hold the part of the pole that goes in the snow in your hand and put the handle on the ground, your elbow is supposed at 90°. from there, adjust the length to fit your personal preferences.

6'2 and i have 44 inch poles, they are kind of short for traversing but they work okay, not too long not too short
