jea, i got that baker visor helmet today and was surprised to read that it is not up to like estm and um standards. is it still pretty tough cuz ive hit my head pretty badly before.

    i dont see why they arent rated. I heard that its just cause they havent tried getting them rated. like just to test it out i hit my head against the table with my bern macon on, then i tried it with my brother's red trace, and my friends giro g10. The macon absorbed it completely like i didnt even feel it where as with the trace and g10 it still kinda hurt. So theres the results from my little self test.

    if your skiing trees or even rails and jumps i would STRONGLY suggest to get a real helmet. if you hit hard its not gunna protect you at all.

    haha well of course thats why it hurt, but what im saying is that it didn't hurt with the bern helmet on. bern is one of the only companies to use this brock foam padding stuff which apparently is really innovative and safe.
