hahah yeah i ski with mostly snowboarder friends and there really cool and actually do shit in parks and i love skiing with them but a lot of snowboarders at my mountain just SIT AND WATCH in the park. probably the funniest thing ever and when i ask if anyone hitting something they would just kinda look at each other and pretend like their adjusting their bindings and boots.

snowboarders usually fall into one of two catagories:
1. super cool, super chill, sick riders/show a lot of potential, same kids you hang out with.
2. gaper, poser, groms, get down the hill without making one real turn (toe/heel edge the whole way down), ruin jumps/features.

word^ and then when they tell their buddies what they did that day, they'd be like " yeah all we did was hangout in the park all day it was so dope but nobody was doin anything big (including themselves) and it got lame so we went somewhere else"

Whenver they sit around I spray the shit out of them, then call drop and bounce.

exactly.

i love snowboarders who are actually good. i respect them just as muchas any skier.  but when they are gapers who think they are badass just because they snowboard, that pisses me off.  and i also hate it when they just sit there

god i hate these threads. i didnt read it, but roughly i predict responses like

i hate them they sit everywhere

i only like the good ones

snowboarders area a huge influence in freeskiing/we wouldnt have parks if it wasnt for them.

I think they can do some really cool things that we can't even come near to. Even though skiers can do nose presses and tail presses on rails, in my opinion, they don't look anywhere near as cool as when boarders do them.

The boarders that just sit at the top of the park and play with their balls suck. The ones that push all of the powder away suck! But the ones that drop and throw sick shit are pretty gnarly. Im not to fond of them off jump because everything looks hucked but on rails it can look pretty nice. Skiing for life though lol

sure there are snowboarders suck at snowboarding,
but like there aren't skiiers that suck at skiing?
and sure they ruin the moguls sometimes and sit and watch, but honestly, who cares?

maybe someday snowboarders will realize how much better skiing is. but for now, let them sit and watch.

i mostly ski with other skiers but ihave 2 really cool snowboarder friends (not that snowboarders arnt usualy cool)
oly thing that i have a problem with is when they slide down the runs takeing off the powder
when there sitting in th middle of the runs you can just use them like race gates

I went up to Killington this weekend and noticed why a lot of you guys hate us. I see massive groups of them sitting in the middle of the trail wipping snowballs at eachother. The majority of them up there can't ride and just take up space.

they suck cock all they do especially the shitty ones wich are the most of them is slide sideways down the hill taking away all of the snow and usually pushing it into the woods leaving behind a big patch of snowboarder ice they ruin the snow hill

If they stay the fuck out of the way, and are cool with skiers, then its all good. If not, they are assholes, but a skier can be as bad as a snowboarder, assholes will be, and are assholes no matter what kind of boots they put on in the morning.

Newb borders are sometimes as worse as newb skiers but i have respect for boarders who respect skiers and what we do. But i hate the boarders who think there so pro and all they do are straight airs and 50-50's

snowboarders are the same as skiers... some of them are homos, some of them are really cool. snowboarding is equal to skiing as far as im concerned, and when i watch snowboard videos it makes me wish i never stopped snowboarding.

i hate when snowboarders are talkin shit about how you ski constantly its been mentioned that some snowboarders are dope but in my town me and the three other kids that have twin tips are called all sorts of shit, "prep skier" or asked in the halls at school, "How was the scenery sunday" if were heard talkin about a past ski trip but i hang out with 3 boarders that are really tight as hell one of them has a brother that moved to park city for college and boarding and had an ex pro snowboard coach and is real nice on a board so i guess they can be anywhere from extremely gay to extremely tight just like any skier.

just like anything in life, there is veriety. some are cool some are stupid. to be totally konest, when im lookin for inspiration or technique on rails, i look at good snowboarders. They can flex their boards so much better when doing presses and hey can do way more slide variations. on the other hand i look at skiers for jumpin, we just look sicker in the air
