i do handstands. its not all about lifting if you want to be a good jumper. its about support muscles and body awareness. whatever floats your boat but i would suggest more of a crossfitt aproach for a newschooler as opposed to full on strength training. yoga, rock climbing, parkour. those are real workouts
werd
one of the gym teachers at my school does one handed chin ups and shit for rock climbing. hes an incredible athleat, but if you just saw him he looks scrawny
im not doing it to become arnold.. and i do parkour shit all the time, not recently cause i tore the ligaments in my right foot doing a backflip 180 off a buststop roof.. and that was october 30th : (
its pretty much healed now.. i also like to trampoline when i can, if you continuously try spinning tricks with different axis's it can be a very good workout. i ride my bike all the time too.. mostly downhill and freeride, which are as good as an offseason sport as you can get to skiing.. cept maybe lollerblading, but that aint as cool!
not another one of these bullshit threads. there is no point in these cuz nobody will ever tell the fucken truth. it just progresses with lies, oh i benched 315 yesterday. oh yeah i did 425 so fuck you, bla bla bla bla all bullshit.
I am telling the truth about my lifts im not trying to brag im just seeing what people can do. I dont really lift for skiing but for a while I used a balance ball they are pretty hard I think
im a senior 17 6'2 and 165 but i havent lifted for a while. at my best last year i benched 180, squatted 285, and power cleaned 180. dead lift i suck at and got 300. im best at cleans though
