This theory has been used to explain the huge variance in the amount of ice coverage on the surface of Mars for sometime now.
The Earth is a lot more stable on its axis than Mars. I think the article I read about it said that Mars' axis has changed as much as 10 degrees.
So the theory, based upon what I have read, is a decent one for Mars. Haven't read anything about it in relation to Earth, so can't really comment on it.

no doubt climate change is happening, it is normal i guess every couple thousand years isn't it? Ice age and etc. the axis tilt is apparently going to create a new ice age eventually but in like 10 000 years. As for pollution, i feel it's pretty bad...so many suvs and pickups...do you really need them, save some gas money and buy some new skis, stop adding to an already fucked up ozone

if anyone really wants to hear some good shit on global warming they should read the first chapter in Glenn Beck's new book, An Inconvinient Book. What blew me away about it is that just about everything that is said in it is backed up by a lot of facts and research with sources quoted. it is nice to see someone getting info from reputable sources for once.

Agreed. If you're interested, go to Wikipedia, and if you're really interested, try to take a climatology class if you're in college. Its cool stuff, and theres enough data and research being done that what we know is constantly changing to adapt to new discoveries. Books are going to be opinionated, so take those with a grain of salt.
