SPK boots

anyone got place to get me cheap boots or hook me up besides proctorjones, a 28.5 or 29 Spk would be nice and if anyoen wants to trade boots i also got a new 28.5 foil only becasue my shop ran out of spks

Hey dude, your heel will definetly be tight in SPKs, it will definetly be tight in those and you wont have to trade out.

You shouldnt buy a boot just because you think its cool or everyones wearing. You need a boot that is designed for your type of foot. Check out some of the lange freeride boots.

i know you havent gotten a solid answer yet, just a punch of ranting, but my question now, why would you buy th foils if they didnt fit your foot?

they fit fine until i tried them on the hill for a run or two and they felt looser than i wanted, then i stopped. I went home and realized they were too loose for my legs and i tried the spks on and they seemed to solve my problem, but the next day i went to buy them and some mom bought them for her kid, damnit. But this thread is really for a deal on spks or a place to get them, so can it please go back to that

Well, let's think the Foil's felt good in the store but they packed out and oh-no they are to lose then you go and try the Spk on in the stor and it feels good, hmm so of coarse it will be perfect on the hill and won't pack out at all like the foils. No, your problem is that the ankle pocket on the foils is too big for your ankle, and I can pretty much garenty that the Spk ankle pocket won't work for you either. go try some lang's on they have a much better/tighter ankle hold then the salomon's  do,  they may feel to narrow in the tow box or to short of a instep, but that can be stretched out, you can not make any part of the boot smaller, and also you want a 28/28.5 as your size or smaller

Try a Surefoot if there's one around you, I think they might have SOME Spks in stock still. Maybe.

Related topic: buying boots around Xmas time is STUPID. There's no selection left, shop guys are stressed the fuck out because they're doing 12 hour days 8 days in a row and Red Bull doesn't work anymore, and stock is low in EVERYTHING.

2nd Related Topic: Dear NS members. Please stop giving boot fit advice online. You don't know what the fuck you're talking about. Dude wants to know if he can find SPK boots anywhere. If you know of any places that might have any, let him know. If you can't contribute anything of value (none of the "fit advice" you gave him is of any value whatsoever), shut the fuck up.

and how do you know they would fit him? you cant really recommend a boot even if he does give a some what description of his foot. langes do fit smaller tho so they might work.
