Cristy's is the worst shop know to man

i just had a pair of skis mounted there cause i get it half off, and told them to mount at center, even drawing a line, and pick them up today to find that they aremounted not at center, but behind the recommended point on the skis at -8cm from center (the recommended point on the skis is -6), im so pissed cause i can't go back and have them remounted as im leaving town tomarrow.

because i can get it done at half price and im a cheap dutch bastard. ^and no it was the christy's in fort collins. i think a different shop tech mounted them than the guy who took them from me, probably some 40 year old former amatuer racer who enjoys spandex and is balding.

DO NOT EVER GO TO THE CHRISTYS IN AVON. That place is complete trash. They are nice but have f'ed up two pairs of skis between me and my girlfriend this season already. Christy's in Breck however is that absolute bomb. All of the guys in there are super cool and don't fuck around. Christy's in Beaver is good too because danno works there so with him around the place I wouldn't be surprised if it's a pretty tight ship also.

I was a tech at Christy's in the flatirons mall last year and I don't think we once had a fuck up. Best shop I've worked in so far, the head tech Rusty really knows his shit. I'm at the sports authority (in superior) now and it fucking blows. Worst shop in the world.

haha, I miss the beer tunes. Best part about the flatirons store was that hawaiian liquors was right next door. You needed something done fast, case of coors would have it done in 15 minutes.

i hate to bitch, it's just an unhappy process, but saying that it's the third mount on these skis, no shop's going to mount them again,making them worthless to me. i guess my dad could have them, he wanted new skis.

This is about the fifth or sixth time I've heard of Christy's fucking up a mount. And that means that there are plenty of other times that they fucked up that none of us have heard about. I'd say give any front range shop a wide berth and head up to a specialty shop at a ski area where they do a lot of mounts.

the colorado springs shops seem to do a good job - i've had at least 5 pairs mounted by em and not once have they messed anything up.
