can you upload a DVD that you own onto an ipod, or do u have to buy it from itunes?

i really dont want to do wat my friend did...he used liek 3 diff programs on 3 diff ipods and they all messed it up-i think one was ipod agent? neway, what would it cost to buy like a full length movie from itunes like fight club or something?

well for videora u have to use 2... and my ipod isnt messed up. i bet the itunes movies are like 10bucks... look it up yourself... u should have intunes music store.
