wind up properly and take off properly. i get sketched doing spins off big jumps though. like i can three off the ground but then i cant three off like a L jump. im messed up.
preload, keep a wide stance, make sure your feet get off the jump at least to start your spin, so you dont hit the jump, and unwind then look for your landing.
haha yeah i honestly think jumping around and shit has helped me. 3's on the ground are cake. just get a good, solid wind up, try to relax and keep loking over your shoulder
First you have to find which way you spin most comfortable with. I spin right much easier then I spin left. Then you get your wide stance and wind up into the spin. As soon as you feel your feet leaving the jump throw your spin. Then you keep looking in the direction your spinning. Spot your landing and land it.
Commit. Just realize no biggy is gonna happen if you crash, get some speed into the jump, keep your knees bent and skis wide, wind up (if its a new trick), and pop off and spin. When in the air keep your head looking around, and try and throw a grab in so you don't go off balance. If not, just bring your knees up, and tuck in for the more speed. When your landing, get your body set up before you hit the ground, and when you hit, have your knees bent and a wide stance much like take-off. And thats how to do regular spins..
