summer rail ramp...

hey, i already have a rail for my skates, but i want to make it so i can use my skis on it. my backyard is flat, so i need to build a little ramp so that i can get speed for the rail. has anyone else done this? i was wondering about the dimensions, and what to cover it with...thanks

well, mkae it like a 5 foot high QP, and really steep, cause it givews more speedor just a steep bank ramp, i have a 2 -3 foot high bank ramp and its not high enough
its got really long ramps though
