How you guys think he's gonna do? Personally as a Sox fan I'm pumped as hell on him, I think he'll do really good and the red sox will finally have a market in japan. Plus 6yrs/52 million, we got a deal. Please spare everyone by not posting the basball is gay/sucks comments

there arn't many dominate japanese pitchers in the MLB, he might be the first, or he might end up like byung-yung kim and flip off his fans when they boo him

but you have to rememeber that doesn't count against the cap. It's good to see the all $$$ that the Henry adminsistration has made in the past few years has gone to good use. Plus that 51 million can be made up through an entire new market as in Japan.

ive been saying it for a few years that they need better pitching, and the past few pitchers theyve signed ive said he could be the guy to bring it all together, but i like that way the team is looking this year

Get your head out of Epsteins ass. Be the guy to bring it all together? You Red Sox fans have completely lost your mind. JD Drew 5yr/70mil for a guy who doesn't even come close to deserving that kind of money. Paying extra 10 mil to Lions due to bad managing skills. Signing mediocre pitchers and guys in a dugout with no chemistry. And this is just a tip of the iceberg on how management is destroying the team. the rotation is gonna be BALLA, D Rice, Schilling, Beckett, Papelbon, Wake. If we dont make the playoffs this year with this potential rotation and our offense, i dont even know what im gonna do, become a blue jays fan or somethin.
