idk if im even going to get one but i was thinkin itd be nice to have everyones input on what some of the best video cameras are for the price (mid price range)...im pretty poor at the moment but im looking for the best quality for the lowest price...haha of course. but i know this is really open to anything so any help at alls good

he said for cheap. if you want an amazing like hd camera and are not looking to spend a lot get an hv10 or a hdr-hc3 or something. there still pretty expensive but if its quality you want, it doesnt come cheap.

Look into Mini Dv's at your local walmart, learn how to use them, and edit first, especially since you aren't familiar with it. Then once you get the hang of it and decide you need a HD camera, invest the $$ you need.
