So I lost my boots before this season started so when I went out for the first time i rode these shitty old wateramping boots that i had, the toe and heel is really really warn down on them and they are basicly garbage. It just so happens that that day on the hill my bindings riped out( sorta saw it coming i was ridding the orginonal liberty stealths ).
So when I took my new skis in to get mounted i knwe the tech would have a problem with my shitty boots so i told them that they where the same size as my good boots and i couldnt find my good boots, Then he gave me this big lecture on how shitty boots screw up the forward pressure and what not and its really dangerous. As far as i can see the only real risk is poping out randomly which is a risk I am willing to take because i cant aford new boots anyways.
So I guess the question is, do shitty boots have any effect on the binding coming out, and is there any other real 'danger' that im overlooking by being to cheap to buy new boots?
