yea that shit sucks so hard, i hate it when my toes go numb, cause then im like i really dont wanna take off my boot, but then again i cant feel my toes. its a mad hard decision, keep toes or take off boot?
two compleatly different things. Tow bang hurts becuase you bruse the front of your tows and blood rushes down there Frost bite happens when blood stops flowing to your tows, and if you got frost bite you would be heading for the lodge as soon as you could, and if you got severe frost bite you would lose your tows.
yea, my boots are fine... enough. they're the dark green 1080 boots.. granted i really do need a new pair (the boots are like 6 years old or something stupid like that.
the frost bite started to become a problem two winters ago in Fernie. it snowed a shit load, then stayed in the -25 area for a week or two and there was a hold in my shoe at the toe, so my foot was wet and frozen before i even put the ski boot on for the day... my toes didn't like it. that and i wear shitty ass cotton socks that really suck ass.
trust me, you don't want that shit man... when something gets frost bitten, it is automaticly more prone to frost bite for the rest of your life.. that and it hurts like hell when the area thaws out.
i wonder if i'll still be able to ski without big toes (if it ever came down to that)... probably could - i'd just have to figure out a different turning technique.
