im going out to vail this year for the first time and want to experience everything i can out there. anybody have any favorite trails or lines they can recommend?

the whole place is sick if your gonna be out there for a week or so try and hit it all there are some sick drops in blue sky basin you might wanna hit hopefully you get a LEAST one vail powder day its nothing you have ever probably skied before

i have two or 3 days to ski in summit county, a friday saturday and sunday, where would you suggest to go on those days (crowds etc) Id like to definately hit vail as a definate.

breck is good, ive been told by a close friend that keystone is on point for once this year, i would hit breck on week days and key on the weekend, its never crowded, its nice!

Ski on the week days, and don’t get mad at the lines at a cretin lift. Most people think the whole mtn is crowded all the time, its not at all, some lift are at some parts of the day. And the mtn can be intimidating because of its size. Ski were no one else is skiing, don’t follow the crowd and it will be amazing. As a local VAIL IS THE SHIT!

i see the Perfect 10 pass goes to them all but i dont need 10 days. What are my options? Ill be in colorado in january for 3 days and hevenly in march for a couple days.

we usually only go to vail in the spring but my dad goes out in january and he usually gets the perfect ten pass....

You can get like a 3 day pass for multiple mountains, just do it at the ticket counter. I think my pass was 5 days, any combinatino of Vail, Beaver Creek, Breck and Keystone.

i like blue sky basin the best, lovers leap and ironman are two of the easisest ones to find and are great fun on a powder day. theres a cliff band that you can see from there that you have to take cloud 9 and then go onto another trail where the cliffs are...dont worry its easy to find. then mongolia bowl has some fun little drops. bluesky is byfar your best bet though

on your way out to the bowls hit up prima cornice off of northwoods area, it's some fun shit and if you check back a couple of issues ago of skiing mag they picked apart the trail to show the best spots

northwoods for sure if your inbounds, but if you get some snow i'd be heading out to east vail if you know people there...you kinda have to konw the area and bring becons, but its worth it

the best glade on the front side is hair bag alley if u get a powder day u have to hit that up

yeah but most likely if it's his first time he prob should just stay in bounds, you gotta admit vail's got plenty of sick inbounds that could keep you busy for weeks and never get bored

^ yeah my bad...but lovers leap and ironmask are allmost the same trail. one is just a lil bit further down the rim with a bigger drop to get in
