I haven't had to buy boots in a long time, so I am looking for something to accommodate the new style. The two I'm considering are the Dalbello Krypton Rampage and the Salomon Xwave 8. Is the rampage a good all-around boot? I don't hit the parks much, still learning to ride the twins (Line). But I like big drops, backcountry type stuff. Any pros/cons to either would be helpful.
i think they are great boots, i just have issues with the toes getting cold cause i have bad circulation to my feet. i love them for everything though. im selling my 28.5's tho, if you are interested p.m. me.
werd on da street is that they are hella narrow so try some on to make sure they dont squeeze your foot too much. if they do, try on some salomon foils and spks to see how those feel. and some technica flames while you're at it (if thats what they still call their park boot, no clue). just ask your shop what kinda boots they recommend for what you are skiing and try them all on.
I've been on my Krypton Cross's for 3 days now and I love em. They rip all mountain but still ski park great. I have medium feet that lean to the narrower side, and so far fit is awesome. They are sick for buttering and whatnot cuz they hold your feet soooo tight.
