Help with deciding which lens to get, Canon A2

hey, i have a canon eos a2, its a really nice film slr, can shoot up to 5 fps, but anyways, all i have is a 50 mm 1.8, and i really need a new lens, ive been looking for a wide angle zoom used on bhphotovideo, but they are all manual focus, any suggestions, should i go telephoto or wideangle, wideangle zoom? all suggestions are aprreciated

if you have a 50mm, I'd go more tele, like 70-200 or something in that range. it all depends on what you shoot though. If you shoot arch, landscapes and mostly wide angle stuff, it would make sense to do that.
