We've kinda half assed setup a schedule in years past. Who is organizing comps this year? I'll probably be looking after Crabbe. I just talked with Johnny and he is more than likely not organizing comps for Poley. Jeremy, Jeff, what are your plans this year. Has any dates been picked yet. What about Martock? Is anyone doing anything there?
As in years past, lets not step on each other toes and try to work around each mountains schedules so we don't have conflicting dates.
Also what would riders like to see?

i say screw comps.
instead maybe make one or two sick features on a certain day and have film sessions.
but the jib masters was a great one.
my thoughts.

just get your own shit together and dont worry about anyone else (it aint worth it)....comps here will never be anything more than mickey mouse until someone steps up and organizes it in summer/fall: set the date well ahead (top riders in this area are busy, schedules are filling fast) - arrange accomadation package for riders (make it an event) - solid features (a most or nobody will visit your hill again) - real judges (ditto on riders not comin back) - qualification round fri/finals sat (keeps the things streamline) - afterparty (darkside will kill it) -cash prize (to fuel the after party). it would attract the top riders and sponsors and set a mark on things...on the other hand everyone can just keep doing what their doin and host their own riders for the event and give them some free swag from reps.....whatever works.
like hanlon said who cares though...nobody needs to prove their better than anyone, we just want the features to push ourselves in a safe manner...meaning trannies and size.

Yeah....comps are fun, but big sessions are way more entertaining....focusing on good parks should come before focusing on good comps...Wentworth put some serious elbow grease into their park setup for the big Red Bull rail jam last year and it turned out good for one reason, the qaulity features. Not raining on anyone's parade but it would make for a much more enjoyable season if the sponsorship effort and PR stuff put into comps went into park progression first. Wentworth made huge leaps last year and it's in the cards this year, never made it too Crabbe last season....martock, well we all now that one...
