Replying to SPK Boots

I live in Wisconsin and i wont go outside of minnesota and michigan probably, so i was wondering if the spk boots can handle the runs i have here besides just the park, cause what i hear they are a little soft laterally but their flex (but they fit soo well to my feet) is the same as the foil which i just bought and i am having second thoughts because when i am just in my boots and i try to stand on my toes, my heel slips up and yes, the boots are the right size, so can someone help me out whether i should get rid of my foils and get the spks or find a solution to my foil problem.
