i used to do the MASS (mid atlantic snowboard series) went to nationals in 96. back in the day is was the only way to get exposure for sponsers now there are so many other events they are kind of obsolete. but if you want to meet new paople and travel around to a bunch of different mountains it is a good time.

i rode a couple slopestyle usasa comps over here but they werent that fun. waiting all day for two runs never is though

i did it one year! but the hood one is so fucked up!  there is the one chick that has done it for a while and knows everyone with the usasa for hood .. so even tho she totally sucked she still wins no matter what! so its way to fucked up .. i just ride for my high school team.

my problem with usasa is it is so expensive if you dont do the whole series. i would love to just do the event that comes to my local mountain. but it is like 50 dollars to register then 10 dollars for the event. so 60 bucks for on event to me is just rediculous. but if you plan on doing the whole series it is worth it.
