im looking for some new park sticks this year, im 5'10 150lbs lookin for a softish butterable ski and am looking at the new t-halls or fujatives but cant find much info on how the new halls ski. I need something that will handle medium size jumps, some pipe, let me mess about and butter etc but still handle some all round riding. I live in england so getting hold of smaller brands like 4frnt and ninthward could be problem, so i figure its between the halls, fujis or possibly some invaders. Any ideas??
ive skied the 07 fujis nad thalls. THALLS RULE!!!! i think theyre a little stiffer and sooooo poppy. they really feel good all mountin too. theyre just like my ar5s felt, cept better cuz theyre wider. the fujis have a REALLY soft tip, like it just is soft and super floppy. the thalls feel a lot better all mountain and stronger to me, the fijus were really buttery. the t-halls seemed a little more stiff, and ski like.
basically T-HALLS for sure!
I would agree with midwest... They do ski alot better than last years... And with the un de-tuned edges they have more control on hard pack.. At the demo I was at this past weekend alot of people were loving the new Thalls.. even guys that were likee 200lbs and so...
I like my older ones, but the newer model skis alot better, not so much stiffer, but feels like you have a ski underneath your feet.. if that makes since.
The softer flex kills it in the park though.. IF you're looking for an all mountain ski, or like the feel of a stiffer ski look to the AR6's. (in my opinion).
