i need new boots because my old ones are too small. i usually ski about 70 percent park and 30 all mountain. i ride at mt hood so there are the ocasional powder days and some days are just pure crud. i was thinking the spks any thoughts?
in all honesty, the spk is the most amazing boot i have ever seen or ridden. it just weighs so much less than anything else out there, and the comfort level is through the roof. it isn't a super noodly boot either. it's still stiff enough to be able to perform all over the mountain really well.
well if there not really small, you can go get them punched out, you can actually have it done quite a bit too. but if theres no way then get new ones. but go to a boot fitter and have them fit you into one. dont just go buy one. also bring your old ones because they might be able to do quite a bit of shit as far as punching them out, grinding, orthotic with a little bit of a higher arch, or a heel lift. no need to spend 400 when you can get you current ones to fit correctly for alot cheaper. as far as what you should buy i think the foil would be better than the spk but thats if your foot fits them good.
i can't its not possible no shops around here only one is at local mountain and they dont have much..... unless there is someone on here with a foot that is a size 13 shoe a foot that is 11 1/2 inches to the longest toe and 4 inches wide at the widest part of my foot that wants to try on last years foils then tell me how it fits i have no choice :)
