So i have a scar on my eye.....

i dont know if it is actually a scar, but it is like i clear tube that i am looking through.. it doesnt impair my vision at all and id say 75 percent of the time i dont see it.. if i am looking at white it will appear, and it has been there for at least a good 10 years... any thoughts on what it may be.. ill try and do a photoshop of what it looks like when i see it. and you cant see it looking at me, no eye doctors have said anyhting but ive never mentioned anything

I get stuff like that. im pretty sure that its not the same all the time but they look like little invisible tubes sliding along my eye. I think its little dust or germs or very tiny particles getting on your eye and passing somewhere in front of your eye. you cant focus in on it because its so close to your eye.

i get them too, but i think it is permanant because i have always had it.  i cant see it alot of the time unless i try, and right now im trying and its really light, not showing up too well

i have those. i have had them since i was little and i used to sit and try to watch them for hours becasue every time i would try to follow it it would move faster and i wouldn't be able to focus on it and it would run off. but then as soon as i look away it would come back and my eye would chase it. it used to amuse me when i was younger.

yeah i wear contacts now so it doesn't show up too much any more but when it does i am a happy camper.

Pretty much everyone has these. What you're seeing are cells floating around in the vitreous humor (fluid in your eye).

The floating specks you sometimes see in front of your eyes are not on the surface of your eyes, but inside them. These floaters are bits of cellular debris that come and go without treatment. To some people these "floaters" look like spots. To others, they look like tiny threads.

Most of the time they are nothing to worry about, but sometimes they can be a symptom of a retinal tear. If you notice a sudden increase in floaters or if you see floaters along with flashes of light, this may be a symptom of retinal detachment. Call your eye doctor.

is it a 'floater'? i have a thing where a capillary broke off years ago, and now it is floating around somehwere in my right eyeball. usually i don't notice it, but it's this group of clear blood vessels that will suddenly sweep across of field of vision. it's really weird. it looks like this:

I have one that if I look at a certain spot for a while, it just flys in front of my eyes, v e r y slowly.

i have a huge red scar just left of my right eye thing. the white part whateve its called. when i was 10 i was playin star wars in the glades with my friends. we were swingin our poles at bushes with our poles when suddenly a thorn bush branch whipped off the bush and nailed my eye. i lied on the ground for a good 15 minutes before my freiends decided i needed some attention.

That's nothing to worry about. Everyone has that stuff that floats around, its from when you were being developed in your moms tummy. I think its something like the beginning stages of making the eye and that stuff breaks up and just floats around.

holy shit..is that true? like you cant look directly at it but you can sorta see it and its clear but visible and it moves slowly around?

i always remember seein those like at the lake and just thought it was strain from the sun or something... like they look like little strains of bacteria or virus or whatever

i havent seen em for a few years now, forgot all about that. or maybe were talkin about two totally different things..

prettty much what everyone said.. except it doesnt float around, it is and has always been the same, like i said i barely ever see it, but yea sometimes ill try to stare at it and it will move around, and then ill keep following it butit will move faster... glad to know im not the only one....
