Don't even know what a "shintronic" is, but here is some advice for shinbang.

- Ice
- Advil
- Shave your shins (sounds silly, but it does help a little)
- The #1 most important thing is to be more forward in the boot. Shinbang is caused by being in the back of the boot (I know, it's the front of your shin that's sore, but that's the way it works). When you consistently ski (and land) with forward pressure, you will no longer get shinbang, I promise.

booster straps work. they are worth the money if you always get shinbang

don't get these things. if you have skinny claves get the "eliminator"

I'm jumping in here again...

There is NO PRODUCT that can "eliminate" shin bang. Shin bang is caused by being backseat, and no matter what kind of shit you put in your boots, if you still get backseat a lot, the shinbang will continue to be a problem.

When you land or ski backseat, the periosteum (membrane that covers the bone) gets irritated in the front of the tibia, because it is being stretched too much as the bone flexes over the back of the boot. The fibrous tissue that connects to the bone gets broken down, and that is why the front of your shin gets so sore.

So, to treat the "symptom" you can use accessories, ice, advil, shave, etc. But to truly treat the CAUSE, you need to focus more on your stance than on any piece of merchandise.

That's why most pros (who ski hundred+ day seasons), simply use properly fitted ski boots, and except for custom footbeds, you generally won't see a pro using "boot accessories".

well for some reason i am considering shaving my shins...yet i dont understand how that would help. i may be gettin booster straps for christmas...and how would u know for 100% that not a single pro uses a Booster strap or something like it?

maybe cuz they ski hundred+ days their shins have built up either something along the lines of a immuneity or somthin like that

i have them. they are basically soft foam interst that you put by your shins to fill in the area in your boots that your legs dont take up. They cost around $10 i believe. They work pretty good when you take the power strap and tighten it so that it is under the boot plasic

Shaving helps because the hair follicles attach very deep inside, and if the front of your shin is already irritated, then your leg hair pulling back and forth when you move only increases the irritation factor. When you shave, your leg hair no longer gets pulled around by socks and movement within the boot.

I only said that GENERALLY pros don't use these type of accessories. Just an observation.

Something like booster straps probably will help with the SYMPTOM of sore shins. I was just trying to emphasize that the CAUSE is normally from being too far backseat.

my hair gets pulled out anyway, and yeah shaving helps irritation alot.....just make sure to do a good job so you don't get razor burn, that shit suck!
