Problem with look/rossi pivots

Hey has anyone else had a problem with their breaks? I've messed up a couple heal peices because when i land switch sometimes the breaks will catch and break the tab that hold the break onto the binding. I love the release mechanisim on the look way better that solly's or deadbolts. I was thinking about buying the FKS 120 or 155 but bending or breaking the breaks on those scare me

And yes I know the FKS system is different, but you cant get any after market, so if I broke em' I have to go make my own or buy off of someone

My brakes bend on my fks, but i just bend them back. I imagine they will eventually just break from bending so much, otherwise they aren't going anywhere, they are encased in steel.

you could always use a welder to tack a new peice on i guess...

Every brake is going to break if you put it in the snow that way, they aren't made to be released landing switch. It's not a flaw with Look's binding, it's just the way that all ski bindings are designed.

solly breaks are a little more burlu tho. I know from experience. But yes I understand all will go with enough impact.

So did these problems make you go to other binders or do you just stick it out with look/rossi. I like the solly brakes, but the constant toe adjusts drive me up a wall. On the other hand i have toasted the brake clip on rossi's
