i just got the ar6's and it looks like my local shop put the bindings pretty far back from the center, how far back do you think they sohuld be rite now they look about 5-6 poss 7 cm back and i dono if i should take them back anad have them remount my brand new skis. i ski a lot of park so i was thinkin about 2 cm back but i dono. would it be bad to remount brand new skis cause im kinda pissed how far back they are
where's your boots midsole in relation to the black line on the ski? Mine are 2 back from true center which is forward of the black line and I like it a lot for everything.
Na don't worry, one remount won't change much to the ski, it's not like they as thin as chopsticks, if you're really that worried, get the holes filled with epoxy etc ( to prevent water from damaging the cores) it should be totally fine to remount them once, but after two remounts it gets weak
did you tell your shop to mount 2cm back when you bought them/brought them to mount? because if you did that and they just put it at 6 back or whatever you could probly hassle them and get a free mount and stuff. If you didnt do that though your on your own.
My AR5s are 3 back from center and ive only used them in the park, but theyre awsome there so i love them. My shop filled the old holes for me for free.
