Are you denying people do say that, though? Because I have been told I'm going to hell by a number of religious people.

That's intolerance right there. It matters to me because these people are judging me on the basis of a book that is, IMO, a crock of shit.

This makes me think poorly of these people because they don't seem to be able to think for themselves.

I like pancakes........when i poor maple sirup ( the real kind, not the Aunt Jamima's stuff) it makes it soo delicious. When i lived at home my mom would put chocolate chips in my pancakes. Most people forget to put butter on the pancakes, but i always remember cause its awsome. I tryed to make pancakes with regular flower.....it didn't turn out soo great. They were chunky and thick.....use the pancake mix, you will tank me for it. I think pancakes make a great breakfast, but crapes are more of a dessert thing. My dad ( quebec french) makes the best crapes ever. He puts caramel and maple sirup on it......soo delicious.

well its what i said in my previous post. everyone needs to chill out. if you are happy with your beliefs, what can you gain by poking fun at anothers? why does stuff like this start where its just a hate fest. there is a world where christians and agnostics/athiests can live happily. its not on the internet message boards, where opinions are the subject of choice. ive dated now 3 strong athiests. 2 were cool and didnt talk about it, it was just their beliefs. they didnt see a need to push them on me, they knew i already knew what they believed, hence their religion. ive also dated like a million christians. ive had alot that felt the need to talk about it. its pointless and annoying. i believe what i believe. most dont feel the need to talk about it. if theres a discussion about faith and everyones getting involved, ill say it for the sake of discussion, but im not going out making a flash video against the opposing viewpoints. negativity/hatred just what brings unhappyness. theres no need.

mmmm yes i forgot about the pancake storys, a kid i knew went to ihop and took advantage of neverending crepes and they ran out...i was dissapointed because i didnt get to have crepes because fatty ate them all....damn you fatty....damn you...

get used to it, because a large majority of the population believes in a greater being, if you read my other post you would see that i said that religions have had corrupt leaders, but it's lessons are good.

dude, christmas was originally a pagan holiday, the christians jacked the date to make it a christian holiday. Kind of a petty thing to get pissed off about, anyway.

Although, I think being athiest is almost as stupid as being part of an organized religion. You have to explore science and spirituality for yourself.. If you haven't found god at least keep an eye out, you never know. If you have found a faith in something its ridiculous to be satisfied with it, you'll never know the answers in life, but you improve your ideas about it to better understand what you've grasped the more you explore it. The unshakable certainty of religions in their doctrines is what turns me off to them, personally. Well that and their attitudes about science, it just makes them look ignorant.

If the age of the earth is on a time line that runs from your shoulder to the ends of your fingers, life on earth starts at the beginning of your fingernail and all of human kind is represented by how much dust comes off the edge of your nail when you scrape it once with a file. I think our existence is incomprehendably less significant than we think it is. Hope I'm wrong though.
