heres the write from Al's ski barn,
'07 Rossignol FKS 185 Freeride Ski Bindings
The Rossignol FKS 185 is one of the most trusted high DIN bindings on the market. The heel piece's lateral arms are angled down to apply greater pressure to the edge of the ski. This creates more power going directly from skier to ski with less energy loss.
The bindings forward pressure has been increased 30%, which dramatically enhances the interface between boot and binding. The increase of pressure influences ski behavior, which improves rebound and responsiveness.
The 40% increase in torsional stiffness translates into less play between the boot and binding and a dramatic improvement in the transfer of power to the snow. The new dual action III toe piece has a reinforced housing in high stress areas, which improves the overall structural integrity. This reinforced housing on the Rossignol FKS and Axial bindings allowed Rossignol to strengthen the torsion bar interface, which facilitates greater torsional rigidity in the toe piece.
With the purchase of a Freeride Ski we will mount the bindings and adjust the brake accordingly free of charge.
Features:
- Toe 14mm total lift
- Heel 18mm total lift
- FKS Toe
- Teflon AFD
- FKS Heel

If you call Procter you can get last years FKS with reg brakes which you can widen yourself for like 187. Too high man. Ebay has em for less too.

its funny that you will probably end up selling them here to someone that should definitely not need these bindings

Those are not these bindings though. Some people (myself included) will pay extra for the black ones, and if you've bent FKS brakes you'll also probably pay a little to save yourself that hassle as well.

I love how everyone knows everything, go ahead and buy those gold and black bindings and try to stretch a 70mm wide brake to 110mm, it aint easy. These are the exact same thing that a guy just sold on here a week or two ago, but his said look and these say rossignol. The TGR guys dont wont any part of these, they trashed the post up. And as far as the actual buyer if there is ever one, not needing such a high level of binding, who am I to judge. I have ran FKS's before, and with the DIN set on 14, it isnt the same as the DIN of 14 on the new axial2's, the heel pivots and the toe doesnt release up, and I heard they are only gonna make so many of these freerides. But what do I know, I have these bindings and I am not gonna use them so I put them up for what I thought was a reasonable price.
