hey i just got some ar6's and i need some bindings. look px12 jibs seem nice, do i need them in wide? and ar ti's any better cus the price is more. were should i mount the bindings?
well to be honest i dont know that much about bindings, ive heard good things about look. you have an 85mm waist on those i think, i dunno if you'll need wide breaks but your shop will def give you what is appropriate. I'd mount them somewhere in between true center and recomended, your call on that one. If your a very strong skiier, the extra tail from center mounting probably wont hurt you too bad outside the park, but just think about turning when you have more on the back and you can probly imagine what it will be like.
Ti's just going to be slightly lighter. In my opinion it's not worth the money, but if you want to save a little weight you can get them. You shouldn't need wide brakes for those skis either, I had regular brakes bent out for 89mm skis with no lifters and didn't have a problem.
They're the p12 jibs, but that's a pretty similar binding. I mounted them as they came in the box and they've been great, I have yet to have a prerelease with them. In fact, I haven't had a prerelase in the 4 years I've ridden Look/Rossi bindings.
