Yes, you should be concerned because you have two shitty products. You have Line and Look what a shit on shit combonation. Salomon is the way to go! Have a nice time hiking...

I think you sacrifice some strength and durability with light weight equipment so if you have a heavy setup it may last longer but you sacrifice performance. I have Solomon Ti and 914 bindings and I broke the ti heelplate. the 914's are a little heavier but are pretty bonber.

I think it depends on your weight really, but if you're strong enough I don't think it makes a difference you'll get used to it, it trains your legs haha.
My skis measured around 13,14 pounds on the scale, and I was a bit worried when I got them because I'm very light (130lb, 5'11) and not extremely strong, but turned out that they worked just fine although it took a few days to get used to, like I said...good workout

My snowboard with bindings weighs 10 pounds. I always thought skis would way a lot less becuase they have less surface area. I guess they have to be more solid than a board though becuase they would snap easier

STFU fagget you have no idea what your talking about, half of the freeskiing community rides looks and Line has contributed to this sport just as equally if not more so than any other company.

i guess it depends on what you ski. for park, i would say yea, you probly want a lighter set up, for obvious reasons. otherwise, for people like me who dont ski park that often, it doesnt matter if its heavy, because i would rather ski hard and have durable skis that are less likely to break than have something thats a little lighter. personal opinion i guess

heavier skis mean more swing weight. If u are strong it doesnt really matter. Just try ur friend skis and look if u feel a lot of difference if so get new bindings...

188 JP vs Julien w/916s = 16 lbs
185 ARGs w/916s = 16 lbs
179 Pistols w/912tis = 14.5 lbs
The ARGs and JPs are so light but those 916s are tanks. So it works out to a medium weight for skis that size.
