dude seriously i was skiing the best i have, i had all new gear and whatnot but i skied great
but i was tired/sore as hell the next day
im goin tommorw.sat too, cant wait!
it took me like half a run to get most things back, but once i got buttering around, and carving again it came back and im doing better then i was at the end of last year
im going out for the first time tomorrow. Just goanna throw on some jams and go for it. ride as hard as i can although theres nothing to really hit at my mountain but im sure ill find a little kicker that will give me 2 feet of air hah.
Me too. I have ate so much shit so far this year. Second day skiing I almost broke my tailbone and almost got a concusion trying to do a 180 Truck Driver off a hip. It sucked. Then I almost broke my thumb doing a daffy off a mogul. Yes it was stupid. But I can still ski.
Yeah I was totally comfortable skiing at the beginning of the season. Im not as hesitant any more. I have more confidence. My switch skiing is better then ever. Its good to start skiing switch early in the season. Then your body gets balnced riding both regular and switch.
I always get it back within 1 run. The only thing that take me a while is riding pipe. It always take me a little while before i am getting as high out of the pipe as I was at the end of the previous season.
i found some things a little rusty, but on the flip side, there was some stuff i was freaked on at the end of last season cos id bailed or hurt myself or whatever, now the fear has faded a bit and im back to first principals.
im my oppinion and experience once you get over the slight awkwardness in the beginning you are better then you were at the end of the year before. the summer gives u alot of time to think about what you did wrong that year
usually the first week....i wouldnt say im rusty..but im still getting used to the snow thing...but by the second week im back to were i started the previous year.
only my second year skiing and it just felt natural. felt like where i picked up from last year. i was surprised. the gay ass moguls that formed were very very tiring though
