does anyone have it and is it worth the money? i sound like a nerd posting this but i just wanna know if it is good or not good and if it is worth the money?
ive played it...its kinda gay, the graphics arent that cool and your arm gets mad tired after a while cause you have to keep moving it around. but cool idea with the motion sensors and everything
My friend has it and it was really fun. It's pretty amazing actually. We played it with a bunch of people. It seems like it would be amazingly fun drunk...
I have one and I love it. I don't play games a whole lot, just like an hour or so every couple of days. Once the next update comes out with the browser and such it will be key. Graphics aren't anything special though, so don't get your hopes up.
I doubt the online play (if there is any) will rival the 360's or the ps3 (don't really know much about the ps3 though). If the Wii doesn't sell well it is because there are too many child games and not enough T & M games. Red Steel looks sick as hell though.
who the hell cares what the game is rated, the launch games are mad fun
wii sports is fun as hell and zelda is just plain amazing (hardcore gamers will love it) excite truck, trauma center, madden, and monkeyball are really sweet as well.
plus mario galaxy, metroid prime 3, and smash brothers brawl are gonna murder everything else on the market.
I've played Zelda for 45 hours since I got it just over a week ago. Since when is that casual gaming? Not to mention all the time I've spet playing wii sports.
It is worth the money. I fear that I'm never gonna play my 360 again until Halo 3 comes out.
i played it for the first time last night wasted. first thing i played was bowling. and i hate video games and i loved this thing. i had bowling figured out in five min.
i want it soooooo bad man, its more for gameplay than graphics. i only played it once in the mall, but it was the best hour of my life. i got sooo good at excite truck.
^its not like u have to stand up and wave your arms around like a homo, you can chill as if u were playing any other system. the commercials just make it looks like u gotta be on ur feet and get real into it and shit
Have you played the system for more then 5 minutes at your local best buy steve? Because if you have, then you would have realized everything you have said is crap.
The controllers right off the bat are more confusing then the old style because they are more sensitive. Have you played Red Steel? With these new controllers, its a whole new game compared to the old Bond styled FPS.
The FPS's are way more fun on here, but WAY more difficult to get good at because of the aiming and the motion sensing controllers.
aha.. i work in the toys'r'us electronics department i haven't played the wii but everyone i have talked to said they love it. so i would say go for it.
i want to get it so badly, but i'm going to wait until i have money, and getting a 1st gen console is just risky. hahah i've heard about people getting wicked into playing and accidentally throwing their controllers through their tv screens.
I have one, and yes its totally worth it. I to thought it would be gay, but my little bro went like 630 in the morning and got it and I solit the money with him cause I've been waiting for Zelda for 6 years now, and its fuckin wicked.
I can quote old guys too, but the reality is that the system is fun as hell and i've put a shit ton of hours on it and thats just on the stock game (Wii Sports)
Come to think of it, casual gamers dont even buy systems. It wouldnt be worth it.
