Painting helmet

i8van made a nice thread with pics and all

use a primer before u paint the primer always sticks well and then when u put the paint on it will be less likely to chip and possibly add a clear coat.

put up some pics when u do it.

havent tested mine well yet, but....

didnt even sand my helmet down(i have giro encore), but if u have a shiny surface that doesnt look like paint's gona stick to it, i'd rather sand it down.

then couple layers of white spraypaint. really thin. keep the can like 30cm away. and make it all nice with no drips.

then w/e graphics you want to put on it.

then like 10 thin layers of clead coat.

i used krylon spray paints. Havent skied in it much yet, but sofar... from the railsjams and bails on the rails, it looks pretty solid.

thans... not much that I didnt expected. Ill try it anyway, but it will surely be uglier than yours...Im not an artist.
