I lost a year+ of my life to this game (freshman year... i'm finishing up junior year now). I used to play every night for hours and hours and stay up all night and get my chars to lvl 90+... and then a bunch of 99s and 99 hardcores in LOD... had one of the best dueling barbs ever on softcore.... And as you can see, I still reminisce. It's called withdrawl, people!

I had one of the best dueling barbs ever... named SEEKERX.

when i quit, i knew so much about the game... i had a 200% ED balrog blade of quickness with 3 sockets in which I put OHM-OHM-OHM, and the same for a mystical sword and a colossus blade (the best model executioner... name might be wrong).

i wore arreats v 8 with the ED and leech and defense bonus and poison damage and +skills... damage reduction... socketed with ber. best hat in the game.

then the unique mesh armor, was it? 35% damage reduction....

i also had unique balrog .08.... didn't wear... should've sold on ebay for 800 dollars...

don't remember the rest.

my windforce zon fucking wrecked.. I was never a PVP.. always PVM with a ton of friends. we kicked som major ass.

zon v zon dueling: only fun when the 2 are equal in skill and equip

barb v barb... i beat EROSSEX after he hit 99 (first useast guy to do it) with a lvl 73 because i was better than him

Diablo was fun. I playes single player for a while amazingly. I liked it for some reason.

if i reinstalled my life would be over... the only reason i quit was because my CD broke and my CDkey got stolen...

i think the addictive part of it for me was being so good at it... At the time, I wasn't good at anything else.
