Thruster question

ok so last year i got some salomon thrusters and i plan on using then again this year. when i got them i mounted them a little further up from the suggested mounting point but its still almost 3 inches back from dead center. last year i got way better at skiing switch and hitting bigger jumps switch. should i remount the skis more center?
