Rossi Scratch 120 vs. Look PX 12 Jib

I know there was a thread on this subject before...but it didnt really answer the question.
The most notable difference seems to be the 3mm shock pad on the Jibs.
The Scratch's are advertised as being composite and therefore lighter. Are the jibs composite as well?
I'll be riding these on 179 '07 Fujatives...I'm 165 lbs. Which would you choose?

they're both EXACTLY THE SAME BINDING except for the shock pad. And yes they're both composite
The scratch 120's would probably be a more aesthetically pleasing match for your fujatives

The weight difference is negligable between the TI and composite bindings.

I guess I should have been more clear. I meant does the shock pad make a BIG difference? The looks are generally about $20 more expensive...and I generally dont do jumps over 30ft.
I'm looking to focus more on rails this season. I would assume the shockpad only really comes into play on big air...but I could be wrong. Which would you recommend?
Look PX 12 Ti
Look PX 12 Jib
Rossi Scratch 120

I've heard that the shock pad does little to nothing.

The rossi 120 and the look px12 jib is the same binding except for 2 things. 1 the colors are different and 2 the jib has a "shock pad" that does nothing but add a hint of green to the black binding. The Ti is lighter and is spose to be stronger, thats it.

Cool...if I can get them for the same price I'll pick up the jibs.
Now I'm just curious as to the weight difference between the composites (Jib/Scratch) vs. the Ti's.
I'm told it's very little...but I'm coming off of a very light setup thats a little short to a longer setup with heavier skis.
P.S. is the regular PX 12 the same composite (and weight) as the scratch/jib? Or is it the same as the axial 120?

My post doesnt make sense after yours. I know that with the Salomon line the Ti's are supposedly lighter...but my understanding is that on the Rossi/Look line the Ti's are actually a bit heavier.

I wouldn't say that someone wanting to know the difference between two similar products has no confidence in their ability. This site is full of '06 vs. '07 threads, etc...and threads just like this one. At the same time I dont claim to be the best...and I am looking for the piece of equipment that will help me progress the fastest.
At the end of the day I'll probably just end up buying the cheapest one. I'm just interested to know the difference.
