Im thinking about getting a 3 chip camera and was wondering what would be a good one to buy for around 2000-2500$(used or not). Not too sure what to buy but it will be for filming about 95% skiing.

Sony Vx2100 hands down

Produces great colors
very easy to operate
all the manuel settings are on the outside and mad easy to use

(i own a gl2 and i wish i would have put up the extra cash to get the vx2100. I mean my gl2 is great i just like the vx a littttle more)

def the vx2100 but if you want to search cameras for that price range go to www.camcorderinfo.com has a bunch of camara reviews and will tell you whats the best, i believe you can even get high def for that price now

vx's are poop. get a DVX, but only if you have some experiance with cameras.....if this is your first one then yea, get a vx. They are really easy to use.
