Getting yourself pumped

I really want to start riding park, but I can't get myself psyched up most of the time to actually try anything, plus I never absorb impact enough on my roll outs, so I just bounce and drop.

Any suggestions?

I actually take a ride in the progression parks we have and practice there. When I feel comfortable with something I then go into the advance park.... either that or I listen to slayer and just huck.
