basically the title says it all. on friday we got a F2 tornado right through the middle of my town with winds reaching up to 120 MPH. i have just gotten my power back in the last hour, and the town in a mess. we were some of the last people to get power back but i still had to go to school today. my friend completely lost his house, and his dad is a parapalegic and was the only one home when it happened, and at least 5 50+ foot trees fell on his house. luckily only about 6 people were injured, and they were inside the local supermarket when the windows shattered and they were impaled with shattered glass. the cleanup is going to be long and tedious, and the town will never be the same. 2 other tornados were also reported in pennsylvania on friday, but ours was the strongest as an f2. all 3 were the first tornadoes in the record books in the month of decemer in pa. my family lucked out though. the tornados path was only about 1/2 mile away from the house so we sustained some wind damage and many trees are down, but nothing that cant be fixed. heres a few articles about it.
