Hockey is boring

I think its boring to watch but i think it would be cool to play. It gets worse TV ratings in the states then the LPGA tour and arena league football.

Dude, compared to, like every other sport on TV, it rocks. Man, I watched some football yesterday, and it SUCKED. Hockey is the shit. But yeah, more fun to play.

SERIOUSLY!!!!!!!!!!! TAKE IT BACK!!!!!!!!!!! Hockey is the most exciting sport to watch...god damn, checking, fighting, sweet saves, sweet shots....AHHH!!! Now baseball, basketball and golf are understandable...BUT NOT HOCKEY

Yeah I dunno what's worse to watch on tv between hockey, golf, and soccer. Soccer and golf are fun to play, and I'm sure hockey is too, but those are 3 sports that do not belong on tv.

I watch just about every male sport (no offence to the ladies, I just personally don't find it as intense or entertaining), and I'd have to say that hockey is definately the best. It's fast paced, hard hitting, and extremely intense. Rugby is cool, but I find it lacks intensity.

Hockey Night in Canada on CBC saturday nights gets like the highest ratings of any sporting event. It also has the highest viewer numbers for any program on TV on a Sat. NIght....
it must be a CANADIAN thing like Monday Night Football for Americans.....

Hockey on CBC SUCKS! Watching the the sens-leafs playoff games on CBC isn't much fun, because the supposed NATIONAL station is a little bias.

To watch a game in person is awsome. There's nothing better than thousands of other fans screaming and shouting all around you. And when the fighting starts...WOW. So much excitement. That's all for now as i'm leaving to go watch a game.

I guess canadians like hockey and I can't fault them for that. I love baseball, but I'm sure there are a ton of hockey-loving canadians who don't understand why I love baseball so much. So it goes both ways I guess.

i have played since i was for and i have been playing travel for 9 years, now i'm on two teams and i still do't find it boring.....just alittle time consuming.TAKE IT BACK!

Hockey fights are the shit. I was listening to this game on radio between Queens University and RMC (Royal Military Collage) a couple o' weeks ago, and even that was wicked. I wish I had actually gone to the arena and seen to end of the game 'cause fights were breaking out and the ref was just letting them go, just wanting to get the hell outta there seeing how there was like 3 minuets left. Man, hockey is the best. But fights in rugby sound pretty phatt too. Of, course, without skates on, how hard can it be? jk

yeah i would imagine that's it. most kids in the US grow up playing baseball, while in cananda, most play hockey, and it continues like that. reading the sacramento bee today, on the front page of the sports was a big article on uc davis ice hockey, which no one even knew existed before reading the article. on the other hand, we have one of the finest college baseball stadiums on the west coast.

The eighth deadly sin is calling Hockey a) Boring, or b) bad.

Hockey is the best sport in the world. It's just too bad there is an american bad ass big shot in the drivers seat of the league, Gary Betman. Americans, I would be happy if they took all the American expansion teams since 91 away. I feel bad for you people that you can't appreciate Hockey for what it is. It's more than a sport, it's a tradition. There is nothing like it.

I can say the exact same thing about baseball for most americans garrett. It's more than a sport, it's a tradition, our national pastime. I've got so many great memories from lazy sunny days at the ballpark, with a hot dog and soda. Good times.
